Team VeloVino on WKYC Channel 3 and Velo Sano 9-4-2025

A few of the VeloVino team dropped by downtown yesterday, Sept 4, to be interviewed by WKYC Channel 3 regarding our participation in the Velo Sano, raising funds for cancer research at the Cleveland Clinic.  The team was initially put together in 2015 as Jeff K had recently been diagnosed with cancer (he died days before the 2018 ride).  The team continued to ride in his memory, memory of friends and family, and for everyone currently fighting the big C, the team was being captained by Jeff's widow Jill D.  In July 2025, we lost Jill after her own 2 yr battle against cancer.  Jill requested I design this years jersey, which hopefully she would approve of and enjoy wearing in this year's ride.  RIP all those friends and family that we have lost to cancer, and strength to all those who are currently battling it.
